Shrek the Interminable

Bottom line, it was too long for little kids and this is a character that appeals to little kids. My daughter and I took her five year old twins and when the 20 minute intermission came, they were done and ready to leave. At $64.00 a ticket, that was tough to take but they had had enough and quite frankly, so had we. There's no doubt the singers were loud but the lyrics were virtually impossible to understand. Doesn't anyone work on their diction anymore or is that limited to opera singers? If you can't sing the words clearly, at least have captioning. It was like listening to a foreign language. Stay home and watch the movie with your little ones instead.
